dc.description.abstract In this report, on Secure (a women's safety device), the need for creating a design solution for female safety in Pakistan, especially during travel, is being addressed. Here we take in account of the rate of violence against women and how this has an adverse effect on their confidence, cognitive abilities and work place opportunities. With the boom in female empowerment, many areas of women safety have been tackled worldwide but very few implemented in Pakistan. A few of the reasons behind this issue being unresolved is because of the lack of awareness here which will also be discussed further in the paper. The project discussed here aims to generate a product and a system which helps in enabling women in Pakistan to be more independent and confident in life, to travel with ease and always allow them to ensure that a bad feeling never turns into a dangerous situation. en_US
