Abstract

A good design is a fusion of form and function. Achieving perfect harmony between the two is the real challenge. The product line in focus for this project is modular storage. Modular products are known to substantially reduce cost and save time while allowing a multitude of different tasks. Product design methods have seen a lot of development over the last couple of decades. Furniture making too has evolved heavily over the years. This project aims to solve problems of storage for people who live in hostels and shared apartments by exploring modular design. The objective is to improve space management and help people organize in a better way.
