dc.description.abstract Water pollution is one of the major threats to public health here in Pakistan. Pakistan is an agricultural country, rivers play an important role in food production because rainfall is unreliable. But the water quality is poorly managed and monitored. Pakistan is ranked at 131 out of 146 on environmental sustainability index. According to pollution index, water pollution is the factor which is affecting the environment the most. To further investigate this problem area literature search was conducted, apart from that various sites have also been researched upon including Kabul river, Indus river, Nallah lai, Soan river and Korang river. The findings show that water pollution is a very crucial issue in Pakistan. It is necessary to solve this problem. This product intends to collect the waste from the rivers in order to create a healthier environment. The proposed design is formed in such way that it is user friendly. The data presented is extracted from direct observation and various studies published in national and international journals. en_US
