Telecommute has been a common work mode since a long time. Just like
advancements in technology has made major changes in our everyday lives; it
has also revolutionised the work environment. Thus, due to this as well as the
recent pandemic telecommute has become an increasingly popular form of
work. Enabling the employees to flexibly work from any location, telecommute
saves their time and cuts on transportation costs, subsequently proving to be
beneficial for the environment too. Similarly, the employers benefit equally
from remote working as it allows them to conduct business despite lockdowns
and natural disasters. However, as they work from home, homebased
teleworkers face many problems such as domestic distractions that adversely
affect their productivity and increase their stress levels. Despite the fact that
there are products that individually cater to these problems there is still need
for an all in one solution for these problems. |
