dc.description.abstract With the increasing speed of today's world, we are expected to give a higher level of efficiency. More often than not, being part of this race, our mental health takes a toll. Employees often become victim to stress, anxiety, loss of autonomy and unhappiness, which eventually compromises their productivity. The time we give ourselves to process and recover is reducing by the day. Mental health is treated more like a luxury than a necessity. Office environments do not help the situation with the lack of attention paid to the textures and their effects on the subconscious mind. The pursuit panel is a modular ceiling fixture with two types of panels. The first and primary being the texture panel which mimics the surface of water, giving the user a visual stimulus to produce a calm and productive mental state. It also helps incorporate a livelier and natural texture in the office environment. The second being the light panel, which provides task lighting for the workstation below. The modular design of the product allows it to be installed according to the layout of the office space. It also allows for the creation of many iterations of the end form, giving the user a sense of autonomy. en_US
