Abstract:
Water is life, it is necessary for all forms of life on earth. The population of the world is
increasing at a high rate; on the contrary the basic facilities are not available for a large
population of world. 1.5 billion of world population lacks the facility of clean water. Pakistan is one of the countries where water crisis are looming, in order to provide
water at places where stream or ground water are difficult to be made available there is
an easy and comprehensive solution i.e. Rain Water Harvesting(RWH). RWH could be
adopted for multiple reasons ranging from drinking to household use, for irrigation
purposes, for livestock and for ground water recharge as well. The objective of our
project is to give a comprehensive plan for RWH which is easy to follow for a common
citizen and will help in fulfilling his demands and can be employed for income
