dc.description.abstract of our well-being, for food, draft power, medical advances, clothing, sport, as well as for pleasure, companionship, protection, and comfort, often their quality of life is questionable. A nationwide epidemic exists of the mistreatment of animals left, right & center; with a grand total of 50,000 dogs being killed annually. International publications have stated that vaccinating just 70% of dogs is enough to eliminate rabies, however that cry has fallen on deaf Pakistani ears. 63.3% (World Bank development indicators) of the population of Pakistan resides in the rural areas, where there is a strong dependence on animals such as goats, donkeys, buffaloes & cows. A lack of facilities mean that the death rate of animals remains high in rural areas. The objective that I have is the creation of an animal shelter, that houses strays, abandoned pets and farm animals. The main concept is to be a one stop for any kind of healthcare that an animal may require. The animals shall have top notch medical facilities, which will cater to the requirements of common Pakistani animals, at a subsidized rate so that families do not have to bear the brunt. Moreover, each animal species shall have differing living quarter, dependent on its environment, such as open-air fields for cows and ranches for horses. There will also be adoption galleries for families who feel the need to add to their family as well as event spaces so that people around the area may know and learn about how to help the animals who we share our planet earth with. Engaging the community about animal health is highly important in order to create a tolerant attitude from humans. Keywords: animal, en_US
