This thesis explores the design and development of ABBA CARE, a pain relief product aimed at alleviating
back and abdominal pain during the postpartum recovery period. The objective of this study is to create
a user-centered product that addresses the specific needs and challenges faced by postpartum women.
Through a combination of user research, prototyping, and iterative design, ABBA CARE is tailored to
provide targeted pain relief, comfort, and ease of use. The design decisions are informed by user
feedback, ergonomic considerations, aesthetic appeal, material selection, and manufacturing feasibility.
The study also highlights the importance of heat and vibration therapy in soothing cramps, supported by
relevant research findings. The resulting product offers adjustable features, breathable materials, and
intuitive controls, ensuring a positive user experience. By prioritizing user needs and incorporating
scientific evidence, ABBA CARE aims to enhance the postpartum recovery journey for women, promoting
their well-being and overall quality of life. |
