dc.description.abstract Architecture is like music with the ability to arouse certain emotions and other reactions at particular moments in time. Sentiments can be integrated through architecture by multiple means example timing, materiality, designer's intent, lighting systems and various others. To create an overarching composition of human experience's by catering all 5 senses. Since the partition of India and Pakistan on religious lines, the Hindutva organizations in India have stated that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral, inseparable part of India. Providing a space of enclosure and security but at the same time overwhelmed with congestion and multitudes of heights as a persona of the people overpowering the Kashmir state. Implementing thought processes within locals and visitors to understand how can one person change the mentality of a state known as Kashmir. A State that stands strong. To unite our locals and educate them as well as give them awareness about what Kashmir faces on a daily basis. To raise the platform of the Kashmir issue and make way for it in the future. This project directs its users to an aura of multiple emotions in the past through sensual experiences step by step to make them relive the past by absorbing the present nodes within the structure. It focuses on the current problems i.e. the history of Kashmir being lost and people considering it as just another old story to be heard. To teach them the multiple emotions both positive and negative attached to the post partition and during the forced handing over of our state Azad Kashmir. The project will open opportunities to all sorts of ages, for them to experience tragedies as well as to go through exhibition centers and look into the old remains from the past. To learn about Kashmir's culture and traditions through multiple means of performances, dance, jewelries, wardrobe, martyr family histories etc. To be able to move around in a free space but at the same time feel congested and trapped just like the Kashmir's had done back after the 1947 Independence Day. Allowing green spaces and light wells for an uplifted and elevated feeling. A feeling of hope that made the Kashmiri's fight for their right up till now. In addition to this, providing our young generation the story from the past depicted into real life so that they can develop interest into our history. en_US
