dc.description.abstract The project is about to design a Multifunctional Museum Complex on the site, which is in District Okara, Pakistan. As, Okara is rich in history and culture, so I have explored the city of Okara, its culture and history. As, this city is fill with traditional, historical, and cultural aspects but there is not any Museum space and due to this people forgetting their history; due to lack of public spaces like public parks, entertainment, and recreation spaces the tradition and culture of this city is also going to eliminate. By providing these spaces in which historical and cultural things like sculptures can be exhibit, where interaction of diverse users can occur, by exploring these spaces people come to know about the importance of this city. Like other cities and urban areas which has rich history and culture and have their own identities, but Okara city is important because this city was under Indus Valley Civilization. So, there is a need of Museum Complex to the newly developing urban city, which is Okara city, in which the architecture reinforcing the history, sustaining the existing behavior, celebrating the sense of community. Among various facilities, multifunctional museum complex is one of the prime civic facilities for the people which is aiming to facilitate community interactions, entertainment, and recreation as well as provides a platform for the people to knowabout the history and culture of their city. A city like Okara, where scarcity of spaces for community gathering and interaction is severe, it is urgent to resolve the problems and enhance the potentials for ensuring effective and multipurpose uses of the Museum where people can come to see the exhibitions but as well as for recreation and entertainment. This study reveals that these spaces can be a hub of economy development. en_US
