dc.description.abstract China- Pakistan Economic corridor {CPEC) intends to activate the economic activity and connect China to Arabian sea by creating economic zones in major cities of Pakistan, one of the major projects is CPEC city Nowshera, which aims to facilitate in the increase in population and establish a city hub in supervision of FWO. Due to exponential increase in population growth, i.e 49 percent over 19 years in Nowshera district, gated community is being constructed at the expense of vast lucrative produce land of the District. The rapid horizontal growth will result in massive increase in carbon di oxide and loss of Agro-land and lively hood of the farmers as farming is the only skill being passed down onto generations, leaving maximum rural population unemployed, concrete construction to accommodate the population. Consequently, which stems the need to go vertical to acquire minimum footprint and to vertically stack the produce land which is the physical manifestation of Vertical farming to facilitate the environment and help educate the farmers by introducing technological farming skills to increase produce and introduce Private regulated markets to connect farmers directly with consumers. In Conclusion the concept of vertical growth manifests the idea of Agri-tecture to facilitate the lost produce land to be established as an independent entity to provide for the unforeseen famine and loss of permanent source of earning for farmers, Henceforth ensuring to eliminate exhaustion of recourses to facilitate the diminishing agriculture land and help reduce environmental impact of rapidly growing Cpec city with the approach of sustainable food production as majorly the economy in District Nowshera Is based on Agriculture and horticulture. en_US
