Abstract:
This project explains the most recently discovered and the most effective technique
of forward error correction, the "TURBO CODES". These codes are now used in
wireless communication mobile communication and especially in CDMA.
The project aim is to study the different channel coding schemes, compares the
performance of different codes with Turbo Codes and implement Turbo Codes in
hardware.
