In the name of Allah, the most beneficent the most merciful. Image pre-processing and
processing has been amongst the most worked upon subjects of the current day modern
and technological world. The inspiration for this project was derived from an urge to
improve the image transfer rate and image quality by sending maximum detail in
minimum data packets and preserving the important information coefficients of an image,
respectively. In order to achieve this we were to come up with an efficient implementtion
