DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF MIS FOR STATION HEADQUATERS RAWALPINDI

Abstract

STATION HEADQUARTER, RWP holds a number of responsibilities regarding the Rawalpindi station namely, accommodation of staff and officers, legal matters regarding Army lands, administration of Cantonment Board Rwp, and any many more administrative tasks. To streamline the work, it is divided into following branches: GS BRANCH Q1 BRANCH 이 Q2 BRANCH 미 Q3 BRANCH A BRANCH The project automates and computerizes three main branches of the Station Headquarter, firstly GS Branch, which deals with many issues like issuance of NOC etc. Q-1 and Q-3 Branches deals with the Accommodation of Army Officers and Accommodation for JCO's, OR's and Army Civilians respectively. It is expected that MIS of Satiation Headquarter will optimize the performance of the Station Headquarter by providing desired information instantly and providing information of different records used by Station Headquarter. It will also enhance the confidence of the command and staff for the management of technical activities of the units in an efficient and effective manner.
