dc.description.abstract This report is in partial fulfillment of the requirement for the degree of Bachelor of Computer Engineering at NUST. Modern development in the field of Image Processing has led to advancements in various areas. Surveillance and security is considered as the most outstanding use of the science of Digital Image Processing. In our project we aim to develop a robust surveillance and security system. It has the capability to track real time moving objects as well security features which include Abandoned Object Detection. Through the process of development we studied and implemented various techniques to develop our project and in the end came up with new techniques for both. Our system provides both robustness and real-time capabilities with the aim of minimizing human involvement en_US
