dc.description.abstract Two of the world's most powerful technology trends, the Internet and mobile communications, are redefining how and when people access information. With the majority of information and new services being deployed over IP, the use of devices such as cellular phones, Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) and laptops for accessing data networks is pushing the need for "always on" IP connectivity. There is an increasing desire to have network connectivity to the Internet irrespective of the physical point of attachment. Mobile Internet Protocol (Mobile IP) which is an extension to the Internet Protocol, proposed by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF), and addresses this issue of mobility in IP. It enables mobile computers to stay connected to the Internet regardless oftheir location and without changing their IP address. Our Report will present its implementation and will explain the way it works. en_US
