AUTOMATED STORE INVENTORY SYSTEM OF KOHINOOR TEXTILE MILLS RAWALPINDI

Abstract

Kohinoor Textile Mill is a division of Kohinoor Maple Leaf Group. This company Produces griege yarn, bleached, dyed and printed home furnishing and bed linen fabrics for supply to local and overseas markets and Made Ups for the overseas markets. To streamline the production, it is divided into following departments: SPINNING PROCESSING STITCHING FOLDING PACKING The objective of the system is to ensure that at all times the its customers and stake holders are supported by effective, progressive, reliable and consistent performance. The project automates and computerizes three main departments of the Store Inventory System of the KTML i.e Purchase Department, Receipt Department and Issue. It will also enhance the confidence for the management of technical activities of the units in an efficient and effective manner.
