GHQ AMMUNITION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Abstract

It is a web based Database Application which will link all the ammunition depots, dumps and arps of Pakistan Army with GHQ Logistic Branch through Army Secured Intra-Network. At depot level, ammo is being turned over regularly but in the field i.e., forward storages and unit magazines, this practice is difficult to follow due to non availability of dedicated data/info. This inadequacy can be resolved by developing dedicated software for the maintenance of ammo inventory along with complete details. This Software will provide all the necessary info along with extra features like various alerts as per remaining lifetime of ammo, ability to generate queries to get various type of reports /states i.e. Caliber wise , Ammo type wise, Corps wise etc .And some auto generated reports like remaining life with location etc. Moreover, for security purposes, the rights of the users are also defined and users other than Administrator can only have allowed limited accessibility to this software.
