LOCATION BASED FRIEND FINDER

Abstract

The scope of this project to facilitate the user that he can find his current location and the location of any friend member which is added in his contact list and currently use this application. The android application captures the location of humans in categories of groups on android phones. A web services is called from android phone to get and set the data in centralized database on web server. Google map API is used for locating the group member based on latitude and longitude information. This application can be helpful in many places. In university you can use this application and find your group member location.HOD can check all faculty and staff location. This can better implement in disaster area, where u have not have such facility of help then by using this application you can call for help at that place. This application can also be used for fun purpose, if you and your friend going for hacking and your friend is far behind then you then you can find the location of your friend. This application is also used in courier and transportation purpose.
