dc.description.abstract It has been proven that continuous phase modulation (CPM) is one of most useful modulation schemes in band limited channels. Today’s wireless communication technology requires transmitting high data rates without the cost of high transmission powers and high bandwidth utilization. Binary CPM modulation that is used by NATO is implemented at physical layer in wireless communication technology, since physical layer is known for its narrow band channel. The goal of our project is to implement real time NATO waveform on software defined radio (SDR) platform which is hybrid hardware-software system that can be tuned to any frequency and that can carry any modulation scheme over a large spectrum of frequency and is designed to be used in the development of applications in the field of software-defined radio i.e. military applications such as tactical military communications in which the mobility requirements needs the communication to be wireless so we have used CPM modulation scheme to carry wireless communication on SDR. en_US
