dc.description.abstract Education even now a days is one of the biggest problem of the world, according to a rough estimates it is right after population increase and poverty. And it’s not only the third world problem. Situation remains same, although in a better condition for developed countries. Our project “Intelligent learning system ‐ iSchool” is a minor contribution to overcome this problem. Our project makes sure that user learns to read and write up to the very basic level, (it can be further developed by changing the integrated data base), i.e. mathematics English and Urdu. System uses Tesseract for recognizing hand written OCR by taking the input and then evaluating it. While for speech recognition Sphinx is used. Whereas lessons are given using videos. System has quite interactive GUI made in Javafx integrated with SQL database for storage. For evaluation purpose quizzes have been made. Project is divided on basis of difficulty level, for beginners is level 1 with extremely limited scope like alphabets learning, number learning, Urdu “Haroof‐e‐Tahaji” learning or basic learning of different languages. On second level, basic mathematical operations, basic Urdu and English words are being taught. And for higher level, physics learning and such other options are available. Till now only first two levels have been completely developed and 3rd one is under development. en_US
