dc.description.abstract The main and fundamental role in air defense is implementation of strategic decision in the real time environment. To achieve favorable results with uncertainties, constraints and other requirements, the problem is the management and assessment of a particular solution with threat evaluation and available resources. The most appropriate use of resources in air defense system is highly desirable. The paper can give us such a decision support system that can provide us with optimal solution of problems based on the multi-attributes decision, threat evaluation, threat perception and availability of resources/weapons. Firstly, strategic decision is made by high command with formation of threat index system and ideal planning of offered resources. Even if scientific community gives a significant devotion to address this issue by proposing erudite optimization prototypes, but to understand the potential of threat assessment and weapon assignment very limited literature is available. This report recognizes the fundamental factors that affect the Decision Support System (DSS) and use mathematical schemes in it to present DSS as time critical system depend on well-organized and effective scheduling of resources available. The report determines that optimal solution can be developed on the basis of proposed DSS for operational emergency management in air defense. en_US
