dc.description.abstract Worldwide and especially in underdeveloped countries, healthcare always remains a major issue. If by some means; pharmaceutical industry know which type of diseases are growing in a region, they can fulfill needs of community in a better way. Project belongs to the innovation of healthcare information System and deals with healthcare problem in Pakistan. Many hospitals currently use a manual system for the management and maintenance of critical information. Numerous paper forms are needed for current system. Throughout the hospital management infrastructure, data stores spread. Most of the times, information is either incomplete or does not follow standards of management. To ensure that no vital information is lost, a comprehensive auditing process is essential to avoid any kind of vital information (paper based) loss during inter departmental information sharing or communication. There could be inconsistencies in data due to multiple copies of same data existing in various data stores. Some basic and vital information that is needed involves:  Patient’s personal information and medical history  Staff information  Room and ward scheduling  Staff scheduling  Operation theater scheduling And various facilities waiting lists. For effective utilization of an institutions resources, all of the information must be managed in an efficient and cost wise way. More efficient and error free management of the hospital is the milestone to achieve. It aims at:  Standardizing & consolidating data  ensuring data integrity  reducing inconsistencies Furthermore adding features like access through RFID card and usage of Bluetooth enabled smart medical devices will help to raise standards and effectiveness of system in various manners. Applying data mining on data collected through this system will allow authorities to fix problems in the environment as they (problems) have a direct connection to people living in that environment. Business intelligence might play its part in data mining and led to business growth certainly en_US
