dc.description.abstract Vaccination information system provides a competent solution for managing all the activities of child vaccination right from their birth. This is done by incorporating a system that consists of handheld devices with an application installed to help in efficient recordkeeping. This automated solution uses a finger print scanner to authenticate the finger prints of the parents of the child and logging in to the application, after logging in the data is stored into the database. It store all the records of the child immunization and also provide analysis on diseases and their vaccinations. This system stores the biometrics of the parents that are used for authentication during child’s vaccination. The system also cross reference child’s age with the existing vaccination schedule and send SMS alerts to the child’s parents for ensuring timely vaccination of the child. The application will support 3G/4G network with GPRS connectivity. Fingerprint recognition system will already be installed on the application. The system keeps time and location record of each vaccination against every child that further helps in determining the campaign performance. All this information will be stored in the database which is being saved and managed on windows azure. Central control center monitors different activities like tracking the health worker’s daily activities through graphs and geo-plotting on Google Maps for performance evaluation and efficient working from National to District level. SMS alerts using Twilio Service, Twilio is a cloud communications company based in San Francisco, California. Twilio allows software developers to programmatically make and receive phone calls and send and receive text messages using its web service APIs, will be sent to central control center if any health worker will be in danger along with the GPS coordinates and rescue team will be sent to rescue the health worker. en_US
