City Guide

Abstract

City guide, an intelligent mobile based application allows its users to explore cities. Our application, provides features such as exploring shopping malls, boutiques, fast food restaurant, and fine dining restaurants. Users can also use QR codes to get full information, along with smart feature “Genie Suggestion”. In genie suggestion an outlet will be displayed depending upon user preferences and geolocation. Our application will have two primary users; general public and business owners. General users will have to register themselves in-order to use the application. After registration, users will have the option to browse for shopping areas, and restaurants on the basis of locality, interests, products, and random searches. They can further define the radius, with-in which they wants the results. Users will also be able to view the current deals, and sales going on. Talking from business perspective, business owners will first register with us. From there, they can provide us with the new sales, promotions and current deals. They can also request for specific audience to be targeted. We will be pushing the information on our server, and thus notifying all the relevant users. More-over, we will be segmenting users on the basis of their preferences and will be pushing the advertisements accordingly.
