dc.description.abstract	Mobile communication is becoming more and more popular day by day. Not only the uses are over growing, but rates are also getting cheaper. GSM technology not only allows voice communication but data services like SMS, MMS, and GPRS are also its salient features. Most mobile users love to send and receive SMS. It is not only a way of having fun; rather it can be useful in many 'monitoring and control applications. You have a system at your home or office, which can understand your SMS and act accordingly (switch your PC off, turn off lights etc) can be an exciting stuff. All you need is a GSM terminal capable of receiving your SMS and a microcontroller host card, to execute your command. We will implement in this project a demonstration of this remote control system	en_US
