dc.description.abstract The purpose of this case study is to investigate the Construction Management Practices that are being implemented in DHA Valley Islamabad; a huge infrastructure project expected to set an example in the residential, commercial and infrastructure projects of the construction industry in Pakistan. This case study aims at acquiring knowledge about the Project Management Practices being applied in DHA Valley to bring about the execution of the various construction activities in order to complete this mega project. Relevant information about these Project Management Practices includes their application during the planning, monitoring and controlling, and execution phases of this project. Information regarding the project management tools and techniques which are being used to generate the necessary outputs in this project is also presented in this case study. The relevant data was collected by visiting the site, visual inspection, taking photographs of the progress, meeting and interviewing the Project Managers, members of the Human Resource team, responsible site and Planning Engineers. The level of application of Project Management Practices in DHA Valley is a reflection of these inspections. This data will serve as a basis for the analysis and for drawing out conclusions regarding the level of application of project management practices in DHA Valley. en_US
