Abstract:
There are certain vital changes in this world that cannot be perceived with the naked
human eye such as pulsation in wrist , color changes on face due to blood perfusion,
motion of head due to breathing etc. Real-Time Motion Magnification aims at
magnification of these changes using digital image processing techniques in real time.
The technique used is Eulerian video magnification which has at least two times the
efficiency and accuracy as compared to previous video magnification techniques. It is
an inexpensive , easy to use and portable technique which can magnify minute details
and small variations. Hardware will be implemented on Raspberry Pi kit using Python.
Camera and LCD are integrated for recording and display.
