dc.description.abstract Power line communication’ is a technology that sends data through existing electrical power cables alongside the electrical current. We aim at implementing the concept practically on a limited scale by means of an FSK modulated PLC system with its complete system design. In our project we shall design all the components and interface them together in order to create an indoor environment whereby appliances (loads) are controlled using Power lines. We have also worked on its computer interface and a method of monitoring / controlling the voltages and currents flowing in appliances. en_US
