dc.description.abstract The project aims on creating a Key Storage and transfer device that stores keys by some authentication process (login ID and password). The protocols supported by the device for key transfer will ensure confidentiality and Integrity of Keys. The device shall provide data transfer over RS232 DB9 Serial Interface. The device shall be authenticated before connection so only authorized devices can be connected to it for communication. The maximum storage capacity of the device will be 4MB. The device will can take input from host device, store information and data can only be retrieved from the device using host device. The device will support a security protocol to stop un-authorized access to the device. The data stored on the device shall be encrypted so that confidentiality of data is ensured. There shall be a GUI interface for easier user access, user management, to send/receive keys and a login page so unauthorized users cannot access the device. en_US
