dc.description.abstract With the ever increasing population in today’s world the problems faced by the individuals also has a rising trend. Water depletion and the issues concerning its purification are one of the most pressing issues on a global level that demand our immediate attention. Lack of clean drinking water has emerged as one of the leading causes for infections, ultimately leading to death in majority of the cases. In order to prevent water borne diseases and other issues pertaining to polluted water, we will be designing a Water Quality Monitoring (WQM) system. Our project will be able to collect real time data from smart sensors and make use of the ever-expanding concept of Internet of Things (IoT) environment to establish a connection between the physical parameters of the water and the internet. The transmission and processing of the required water parameters would then follow. en_US
