Abstract:
The project is about the design of S band Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) and Butterworth Band Pass Filter (BPF). The LNA is designed by using the transistor hp_AT41435. It operates on 2.4 GHz. The Low Noise Amplifier is the main part of any microwave receiver and is located at the first stage of the microwave receiver. The simulation of this design has been conducted on Advance Design Simulation (ADS) software. The objective of this project is to analyze and develop a reliable micro strip LNA intended for a potential employment in wireless communication system. The S-Band microwave LNA demonstrates the appropriateness to develop a high performance and well established device realization for wireless RF system. The Band Pass filter is designed by using lumped components and then it is transformed to micro strip coupled configuration line.
