dc.description.abstract Machine to Machine (M2M) technologies allow key information to be exchanged without human intervention, making it possible to reduce costs and improve efficiency and service to customers. M2M is widely deployed in health-care domain. The project is aimed at development and integration of hardware and software components of remote patient monitoring system application. Project is divided into four modules i.e. sensing and transmission of vital parameters, an android application for user (patient or athlete); storage, analysis and sharing of data at server, a website to readily access EMRs. Using this system the doctor can continuously monitor a patient’s vital signs in real time. Thus providing developing countries like Pakistan, with a better state of the art health care system. en_US
