Abstract:
Mobile wireless communication is now a major piece of the enterprise telecommunication. It has become a business imperative for all companies. Wireless communication is a huge field, encompassing everything from radio and television broadcasting through pagers, mobile phones, and satellite communications. However, the costs and risks associated with mobile wireless communication are in an unrestrained spiral.
Wireless communication applications for the 21st century are operating in a dynamic environment where clients will be moving anywhere at anytime and will be accessing the servers. To adequately support this process, we have to provide an infrastructure through which client can connect to the server and can perform the permitted operations.
The main aim of project is developing a complete messenger tool for Java Enabled mobile devices or for series 60 devices that will allow the users to sign in, sign up, add friends, delete friends, search buddies, chat with online friends, sending messages to offline friends and status management to show which friends are online and which are offline. So this tool will provide the user to have a cheap way of communicating with their friend from their mobile phones through GPRS.
