dc.description.abstract The aim of this work is to present a design of a radio front end receiver working at 5 GHz using Agilent Advanced Design System (ADS) and to simulate it. The design method for the radio frequency front-end receiver consists of 2 stages. The components are designed and simulated in the first stage, and then all the components are merged into a PCB in the second stage. This PCB is then manufactured and assembled. A network analyzer is used to made all measurements on the radio front-end receiver and the examination components, to calculate the S-parameters. The result of our work is a useful design and prototype, which has proved that it is possible to design systems for 5 GHz on a laminate substrate. en_US
