dc.description.abstract With advent of multiple input multiple output (MIMO) techniques, considerable reliance on wireless data communication services has been seen that too especially with regards to ultra-wideband technology (UWB). Significant throughput is ensured by a combination of MIMO and UWB systems. These systems consist of antenna elements closely placed. As the number of antenna elements increases, spatial multiplexing also increases with throughput but with an allied problem of mutual coupling. Inter-channel correlation due to coupling effects MIMO system’s efficiency adversely. Several techniques can be applied to reduce the mutual coupling to our requirements which can be consulted from large literature in and around the globe. en_US
