With the advent of 5G technology mainiadvantagesiofithei5Giareiaigreaterispeediandiailowerilatencyiand
ithereforeicapacityiofiremoteiexecutioniisienhanced,iaigreaterinumberiofi
connectedidevices,iprovidingimoreiadjustediconnectivityitoiconcreteineeds.
To tune between 4G and 5G technologies a tunable microstrip patch antenna is designed. A compact tuneable microstrip patch antenna is presented with varactor diode as switching diode Varactor diode is being used to switch between 4G & 5G frequency bands. Tuning will be achieved by changing the applied voltage which will results in changing the capacitance of varactor diode. Minimum limit of tuning (0.85GHz) is achieved at 2.25nF whereas maximum limit (2.35GHz) is achieved at .17nF. Rogers RO4350B will be used as substrate.
