dc.description.abstract Investment casting is a manufacturing process in which a wax pattern is coated with a refractory ceramic material. Once the ceramic material is hardened its internal geometry takes the shape of the casting. Optimization of Investment Casting Process and finding the best possible combination of parameters using simulation in order to get desired results with improved quality and reduced costs is a real challenge which all the investment casting firms are facing these days. The combination of different parameters I am using has not been used before. To find the best value of the variable is not a new concept and considerable research has been carried out in this area while no one has tried combination of variables by changing their values and using simulation technique to find out best possible combination of variables so the area is not been explored yet and has great potential in terms of its impact on the efficiency of the investment casting process. In this research, a combination of optimum values of variables will be presented with the objective of optimizing the overall efficiency and quality. The proposed combination would be Different types of Materials to be used for casting, Metal Pouring Temperature and Different Types of Tree designs. en_US
