dc.description.abstract Turbochargers are used to increase the boost power of any IC engine without compromising the size of the engine. While using Turbochargers, the transient response of the engine can become worse because the Turbocharger’s compressor is not physically connected with the engine hence not derived by engine and solely depends on the exhaust gases produced by the engine, so it is important to study the transient response of the engine to counter this problem. This thesis provides the method used to study the transient response of the Turbocharger under conditions. We used BorgWarner Turbo speed sensor, Toyota MAP Sensors and K-Type EGT Thermocouples and acquired data from these sensors with the help of NI equipment using Labview software. en_US
