dc.description.abstract Communication networks are extremely essential for the economic growth of a country and highways serve a vital role in connecting people across the country and generating economic activity. In Pakistan, conventional methods of highway and road construction are still in practice and thus, the design life of highways in Pakistan is around 10 to 15 years. Furthermore, road construction and repairing is expensive and requires a large investment of time and money. Therefore, our final year project is primarily focused on studying, analyzing and comparing the effect of different geosynthetics on the properties of the pavement and proposing a geosynthetic that is both cost-effective and significantly increases the design life of the pavement. en_US
