dc.description.abstract This research is aimed at carrying out a comparative analysis of Public and Private schools located in Islamabad on the usage of technological facilities. The sample included various branches of federal government schools located in various sectors in Islamabad along with four famous private schools. The data was collected by carrying out interviews with the top management of school, teachers and students. The interview responses of all three levels differed because of the difference in the mental orientation and way pf perceiving things of people working in different levels. The interview responses were then analyzed and it was established that the motivation level of teachers, the culture of schools and the affect part of the attitude of teachers play a pivotal role in affecting the usage of technological facilities in schools. Towards the end of the research there are certain recommendations, which if brought into practice can result in increasing the usage of technical facilities, and the ultimate impact will be on better education standards of the schools and the country in the broader spectrum Keywords: Education system, Computers, IT, Technical Infrastructure, Public Schools, Private Schools en_US
