dc.description.abstract Cost control in infrastructure projects has been a challenge for a long time and is more challenging in developing countries. Research studies have focused on causes of cost overrun; however, no study had identified relationship among success factors of cost control. Systematic literature review was conducted to identify success drivers and were analyzed using interpretive structural modeling (ISM) method. The study investigates the critical success drivers of cost control and their relationships. In addition, their dependence level and driving power were identified using MICMAC approach. In this region, traditional approaches are used to carry out different stages of project. The strategies are provided how to conduct these conventional approaches, but that solution is short term solution. The conventional approaches are more error prone and not reliable to drive success factors efficaciously. This study is conducted from different perspective i.e., the focus was on possibilities to control cost rather than on causes of cost overrun and optimizing of these success drivers by transforming from traditional approaches to new technologies. The conceptual framework is developed to effectively drive the success factors. This study focused on adoption of construction 4.o technologies that will have significant impact on project success. Digital twin is virtual model of the project, data is collected using IoT connected devices and data is processed in BIM software. The gathered and processed data in virtual part of DT discovers data to process physical model. The complete virtual model with all data will enable stakeholders to have better visualization of the project. This study illustrates the use of these technologies to efficiently conduct the project success cost control drivers. en_US
