Abstract:
Nanostructured Iron cobalt oxide composite with polymer PANI has been
established as a promising electrode material due to synergistic enhancement effect.
Iron cobalt oxide was synthesized by using a facile hydrothermal route followed by
annealing and further in situ polymerization of PANI to make their composite. For
comparison pure PANI was also synthesized by the same method. The synthesized
samples were characterized by versatile techniques such as XRD; for structural
analysis, SEM for morphological analysis; Galvanostatic charge discharge; CV and
GCD for electrochemical studies. These tests affirmed the developed iron cobalt
oxide nanoparticles composite with PANI for supercapacitors. The composite
exhibits the specific capacitance of 1283.5 Fg-1 at 2 Ag-1.
