dc.description.abstract Engineering applications continue to draw interest in laminated structures made of sophisticated filamentary composite materials. Their key characteristics are their high strength-to-weight ratio and the ability to custom-make diverse components with strength much exceeding the parent constituent materials. And then if we combine these laminate layers with a honeycomb structure we can a material which shows a tremendous strength. We want to improve the strength of different interfaces in the composite. Interfaces are basically the main points where any structure can break. These are the weakest points in any structure. There are several interfaces in our composite. There are 5 interfaces between layers of Glass fiber face sheets. Besides this,2 more interfaces are present between face sheets and the honeycomb (above side and below side face sheets). We want to strengthen these interfaces which will increase the overall strength of the structure. This is what will be the main focus for our project finding. We will make different batches of laminates using fiber glass and different percentages of Nano-particles with a honey comb structure and then test its strength. en_US
