dc.description.abstract 1.1 HR Vision – “To be Employer of Choice in Contract Drilling Industry” People are considered the most valuable assets in WEATHERFORD DRILLING INTERNATIONAL (Pakistan). Attracting and retaining talent in the drilling industry is key towards a seamless and stable operation. The role of HR is vital for the overall success of the business and hence is considered not just an administrative support but as a very strategic function. We want WDI to be the most sought after land drilling contractor in the industry not only by clients looking for contracting a rig, but also by potential candidates looking for a career. 1.2 HR Functions Human Resources is a function within WDI which has people as its prime focus and all the activities are performed to manage them.
