dc.description.abstract Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) have emerged as a promising platform for various applications, including communication systems operating in the Terahertz (THz) frequency range. However, the efficient utilization of THz spectrum for UAV communication poses significant challenges due to its high attenuation and limited range. Beamforming techniques offer a potential so lution by enhancing the signal strength and mitigating the effects of chan nel impairments. This thesis presents a comprehensive analysis of different beamforming techniques for UAV THz communication. The study inves tigates both traditional and advanced beamforming algorithms, including uniform linear arrays (ULA), phased shift arrays, and time delay beamform ing. Performance metrics such as signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), bit error rate (BER), and outage probability are considered to evaluate the effectiveness of each technique. Moreover, the impact of various parameters, including an tenna spacing, number of antenna elements, and beamwidth, is analyzed to optimize the beamforming configuration for UAV THz communication. Sim ulation results demonstrate the advantages and limitations of each technique in terms of coverage, and data rate. Additionally, challenges such as beam steering accuracy, dynamic channel conditions, and hardware constraints are xi LIST OF FIGURES discussed, highlighting areas for future research. The findings of this study provide valuable insights into the design and implementation of beamforming techniques for UAV THz communication, contributing to the development of efficient and reliable communication systems in the emerging THz spectrum. en_US
