Abstract:
In healthcare critical areas like operation theaters and intensive care units
etc., both the patient and healthcare workers desire different temperature en vironment at different stages which depends upon the condition of a patient
and requirements of surgical and treatment procedures. Therefore, the need
of dynamic controlled temperature environment and availability of required
heating/cooling electric power is relatively more necessary for the provision
of better healthcare environment to the patients as compared to other com mercial and residential buildings where only comfortable room temperature
is required. To achieve dynamic set-point temperatures for desired zones and
ensuring the availability of required electric power with Variable Renewable
Energy (VREs) in power generation, we predict and estimate power demand
using historical data of environmental parameters including an outdoor temperature, solar irradiation, and wind speed.
