dc.description.abstract Natural phenomena have always been fascinating for us. We study these phenomena to intuitively design different strategies, algorithms, techniques to resolve our daily life problems. We will be using different strategies for the coordinated formations of the birds. These birds will coordinate and arrange themselves into a V formation in order to save energy. This study of flocking behavior is made, for the better understanding of the mechanism that can be further undertaken to comprehend the complex global patterns that emerge from it. Diffusion and consensus LMS algorithms will be applied for the formation of theses birds into the V formation using the upwash model. Every bird will arrange itself into the upwash of the successor to achieve the desired formation and save energy. We will be analysing different LMS algorithms in terms of stability and performance, and hence this formation will than cause equalizing effect where every bird can share the same value of the upwash. en_US
