dc.description.abstract Vacuum membrane distillation is a promising solution to current water challenges. A water-repellant membrane is used that only allows vapors to pass through it while vacuum is created on the permeate side. In this study, mathematical modeling and computational analysis is conducted to study the change of feed velocity, feed temperature, concentration and pressure difference on the generation of vapors and permeate flux. Theoretical results obtained will then be compared with the experimental ones. en_US
