dc.description.abstract Replay attack is an important and generic type of cyber physical attack and in this thesis its effects are analyzed on a number of control systems. The systems are equipped with a chi square failure detector, Kalman filter and model predictive controller MPC. The aim is to analyze the detection of replay attack on cyber-physical systems (CPSs) by formulating successful attack. The attack is generated on a number of real world CPSs and probability of detection is also discussed. Attacker hijack the sensor record measurements for specific amount of time and send them back while performing attack. Different techniques to reveal replay attack using MPC controller are also studied. en_US
